Laser Eye Surgery
Precision laser eye surgery for nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and presbyopia (age related need for reading glasses). Mr Day performs LASIK, TransPRK, and SMILE procedures, tailoring the technique to you for optimal safety and visual acuity.

Private Cataract Surgery
Mr Alex Day specialises in complex cataract surgery and premium lens implants including multifocal and extended depth of focus lenses. These, combined with meticulous astigmatism correction, minimises your dependence on glasses.

Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE) Surgery
A permanent vision correction solution for patients over 50. By replacing the natural lens with a premium intraocular lens that provides clear distance, intermediate and near vision, RLE can correct prescriptions that are too high for laser eye surgery and also means that future cataract surgery will not be needed. All patients have exacting astigmatism correction to maximise their visual outcomes.

Implantable Contact Lens Surgery
An ideal option for those with high prescriptions, thin corneas or dry eyes. The EVO+ ICL is a removable lens implant that provides high-definition vision without permanently altering the shape of the cornea.

YAG Laser Capsulotomy
YAG laser capsulotomy is a quick and painless treatment to restore eyesight to how it was immediately after cataract or refractive lens exchange surgery where the vision has become blurry due to misting of the capsular bag.

Corneal Collagen Crosslinking
Corneal collagen crosslinking (CXL or C3R) is a technique that has been developed over the past 15 years to strengthen the cornea, which is the clear window at the front of the eye. This is important in progressive keratoconus or corneal ectasia where there is continued deformation of the corneal shape and progressive vision loss.
